We’re excited to share that with the support of No Nonsense Neutering and Friends & Ferals, the Town of Bloomsburg is offering residents assistance with TNR (Trap, Neuter and Release) in 2026!
Town of Bloomsburg Residents:
With the support and funding of the Town of Bloomsburg, Friends & Ferals is committed to completing at least 50 TNRs in 2026. They have helped 12 cats so far in the year and we have 38 vouchers remaining!
To get help with stray, community and feral cats in 2026, please complete the TNR request form on their website located at: www.friendsandferalspa.org.

How It Works
For residents who need hands-on help (trapping, transport, recovery), Friends & Ferals will work through requests in the order received. They are volunteer-based, so project timing depends on available volunteers, appointment slots, and space.
For residents who can trap and transport their own cats or use NoNonsenseNeutering’s (NNN) seasonal transport, Friends & Ferals will:
• Confirm residency
• Coordinate appointments
• Communicate with NNN to apply vouchers
• Record voucher usage and TNR completion
• Provide traps or guidance as needed

Friends & Ferals will maintain a log of all TNRs completed within the Town of Bloomsburg and can provide periodic updates to Council, including resident contact information and general details about each TNR completed. A Reminder About Friends & Ferals Mission
Friends & Ferals is a TNR-centered organization. While they maintain a limited number of foster homes for adoptable cats and kittens, we cannot accept owner surrenders, handle cruelty/humane cases, or provide significant support for medical emergencies, neonatal kittens, or abandoned pets. For those situations, we recommend contacting the Danville PSPCA or another local shelter/rescue.
We appreciate the community’s continued support in helping reduce the number of free-roaming cats humanely and responsibly.
