Exciting News!
The Bloomsburg Town Council has nominated Maria Valentin to partially serve Toni Bell’s term through December 31, 2025. 
Maria has been a dedicated member of our Town’s Human Relations Commission, and we’re thrilled to see her bring her passion and commitment to this new role.
In her letter of interest, Maria shared her desire to be more involved with local government and the community, saying, “As part of the Town Council, I feel that I can make everyone feel welcomed, provide resources for their needs, and open opportunities for all of our community.”
Maria has previously contributed by translating the Norris E. Rock Memorial Pool rules into Spanish, showcasing her dedication to making our town more inclusive.
