Exciting News! 
Starting January 2025, Charles Fritz will be expanding his role as the Recycling Coordinator for the Bloomsburg Recycling Center to also serve as the Columbia County Recycling Coordinator. With an impressive 22 years of experience in recycling oversight and holding the title of PA Senior Certified Recycling Professional through PROP (Professional Recyclers of PA), Charles brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to both roles.
We’re thrilled to announce that the Town Council has approved this change, as of the September 9th, 2024 meeting. Thanks to Columbia County’s partnership, half of Charles’s salary and benefits will now be reimbursed through state funding. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in our commitment to effective and efficient recycling programs.
