The Bloomsburg Composting Site off Old Berwick Road provides a dropoff for

compostable materials (see below), and supplies free compost and wood chips

to the residents of the Town of Bloomsburg and Scott Township. (Identification is Required)

Compost and wood chips are also available to non-residents for a small fee.

Wednesday's: 4:00pm to 7:00pm

Saturday's: 8:00am to 12:00noon

Starting November 5, 2008

Wednesday's: 2:00pm to 5:00pm

Saturday's: 8:00am to 12:00noon


Accepted Items for Composting

     Grass Clippings
     Leaves
     Tree Limbs and Branches, up to 4" in Diameter

Drop off Christmas Trees in January at the Compost Site
